KK Sans

A humanist sans-serif

KK Sans is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed for a wide range of applications, including user interfaces, marketing, and signage, but optimised for displays. It supports all Latin languages with six distinct weights from Regular -> Black and a slight 8º slanted italic.

It features quirky finials on the f, t, q and l glyphs, and neat OpenType™ features like arrow ligatures →← and ff, fi, and ffl glyphs. It has a high stroke contrast with a particularly high x-height. The ascenders pop over the cap height slightly to create a unique vertical rhythm.

This typeface is a perpetual work in progress and not currently available for release. You can find the timeline and journal story here.
